Vienna, Va., January 25, 2022 – Criterion Systems, Inc. (Criterion) announced today it has been awarded a $40 Million Technical Delivery and Management Support Service (TDMS) Task Order by the U.S. Forest Service Fire and Aviation Management – Information Technology (FIT) Branch to support FAM Information Management (FAM-IM). TDMS includes nine capability areas focused on Infrastructure Support/Cloud Migration, Software Development and O&M, Data, Lifecycle Management, Emerging Technologies, and GIS services. Together, these areas are essential for FAM-IM to modernize its applications and systems across the Inter-Agency Fire Community.

Team Criterion has a mission-focused understanding of the FAM environment, organization, and IT infrastructure, as it has worked for the past six years enhancing, maintaining, and providing Tier 2 and 3 applications support for more than a dozen U.S. Forest Service Fire and Aviation Management applications.

This task order was issued under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Information Technology Support Services (DAITSS) contract, which aims to streamline enterprise information technology (IT) support services and centralize procurement functions. Issued by the U.S. Forest Service and available to all USDA agencies, the blanket purchase agreement (BPA) has an estimated value of $450 million and a five-year performance period.

Criterion also delivers software/hardware/applications services to the USDA Digital Infrastructure Services Center to enhance and secure commercial cloud capability, increase cloud adoption, and improve customer experience across all USDA agencies.
