21 May Criterion Systems Awarded $34.6M Contract to Provide Policy and Governance Support Services to the US Department of Energy NNSA OCIO
VIENNA, Va., May 21, 2018 – Criterion Systems, Inc. today announced the company was awarded a $34.6 million task order to provide policy and governance services support to the US Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This award marks the third task order under Criterion Systems’ Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure and Cyber Security Support Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
The company is tasked with providing overall coordination and management of operations performed under the task order, oversight support, and subject matter expertise and guidance related to compliance program management and NSSA cyber and IT governance. Further tasks include policy coordination, data collection and analysis, strategic communications support and end user training.
The DOE NNSA OCIO is responsible for fostering a culture of information sharing and ensuring that investments in Information Technology systems and projects across the NNSA are coordinated, have the necessary cybersecurity protection, and are in alignment with the NNSA Strategic Plan and DOE requirements and objectives.
