Criterion is sponsoring the National Congress of Black Women, Inc. – Kansas City Chapter (NCBW-KC) 6th Annual Awards and Scholarship Black Tie Gala on Saturday, November 9. This year’s theme is “Reaching Milestones: Empowering One Woman at A Time,” and the organization will celebrate surpassing five years as a nonprofit organization. The awards dinner will also honor public servants, professionals, and community members for their dedicated service. Finally, the evening serves as a fundraiser for two awards scholarships for deserving students from under-served communities in Kansas City, Missouri.
