Rick Williams, Vice President and Controller

Mr. Rick Williams has served as Criterion’s controller for more than a decade, ensuring the accuracy of the company’s financials. In 2021, he was promoted to Vice President. Over the past few years, he has concentrated on increasing the maturity of Criterion’s financial processes and infrastructure, establishing a strong foundation for future rapid growth.

A seasoned financial executive with more 30 years of experience, Mr. Williams has held positions as Chief Financial Officer or Controller at several IT Federal government contractors as well as a non-profit trade association.

Mr. Williams consistently strives to support all employees and approaches every activity with a “can do” attitude. Recognizing how much he exemplifies excellence in corporate support, he was recognized as the Criterion Corporate Employee of the Year in 2019.

Mr. Williams has a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Eastern Mennonite University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He lives in a restored farmhouse originally built in 1888 near Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Valley with his wife and sons. He is active in his church and other non-profit organizations in his local community.
