A group of cybersecurity employees from Criterion’s Las Vegas office recently volunteered for Hour of Code. Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries brought to you by Code.org, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities.

This Las Vegas event was hosted by Rob Roy’s Innevation Center during Computer Science Education Week and hosted more than 300 students over a three-day span. Volunteers were critical to the event’s success.

Vanessa Baur, a CSSP manager at Criterion and one of the volunteers said, “It was a fun event working with kids. It was great to see how they approached each puzzle and worked with their peers!”
