The National Science Foundation Cyber Security and Privacy (CS&P) Services contract team supports a layered, defense-in-depth cyber security environment that provides successive cyber security controls for approximately 2,500 employees at the Alexandria, Virginia Headquarters and additional employees at other locations. The CS&P Services Team is responsible for a comprehensive, agency-wide Cyber Security Program that encompasses all aspects of cyber security. Strategic objectives for the CS&P Services contract are:  data loss prevention; improve network and system security; risk based management; security incident management; and cyber security training and awareness.

Criterion Systems’ rapid growth and a recent win has created the need for a Process Workflow Developer based at our Government customer’s location in Alexandria, Virginia.  This position is responsible for supporting the NSF leadership team by recording and documenting essential tasks using a provided workflow template.  The candidate must have proven success in detail-oriented management and administration. Once hired the person will communicate effectively with the Program Management (PM), Policy (Pol), Vulnerability Management (VM), Incident Response (IR) and Security Operations (SecOps) to determine the essential tasks of each organizational element. He/she will document all essential tasks performed in the PM, Pol, VM, IR, and SecOps elements. Documentation will include the detail of the input (trigger), mechanisms and output of each essential task. On an operation level, it will require to validate each process workflow and to catalog the process workflow. The detail oriented individual will learn all of the processes and document appropriately as he/she goes through the process for each team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 Years of Experience with managing and documenting workflow process and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all leadership types and levels.
  • Previous role in technical documentation role
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a NACI/Public Trust clearance
