The National Science Foundation Cyber Security and Privacy (CS&P) Services contract team supports a layered, defense-in-depth cyber security environment that provides successive cyber security controls for approximately 2,500 employees at the Alexandria, Virginia Headquarters and additional employees at other locations. The CS&P Services Team is responsible for a comprehensive, agency-wide Cyber Security Program that encompasses all aspects of cyber security. Strategic objectives for the CS&P Services contract are:  data loss prevention; improve network and system security; risk based management; security incident management; and cyber security training and awareness.

Criterion Systems’ has a recent opening for a Senior Program Manager based at our Government customer’s location in Alexandria, Virginia. This position is responsible for all activities supporting the contract and the customer.  This includes performing as the liaison with the government customer and taking ownership for all tasks within the Statement of Work for this team.  The candidate must have proven success in management of teams and direct collaboration with project managers and government customers. Daily duties will be a mix of the following:

·        Provide leadership and management oversight, administration, planning, scheduling, and controls for projects
·        Responsible for managing the work performed under the contract, supervising its personnel and Subcontractors, and taking appropriate corrective measures for all performance-related problems while performing assigned duties
·        Proactively and routinely assess performance and provide recommendations on process improvement, organizational design, and systems implementation to enhance cyber security and privacy goals
·        Provide cybersecurity and privacy thought leadership across the program
·        Ensure that the technical requirements of FIPS 200 and the applicable NIST Special Publications (SP) are implemented in accordance with Federal and Agency requirements
·        Responsible for directing and ensuring quality of work performed, briefing executives, and providing thought leadership across a range of cyber security and privacy subject areas
·        Act as the central POC with senior leadership, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and any other Government employees or other Contractors at the direction of the Government
·        Accountable for the technical correctness, timeliness, and quality of services performed and products delivered
·        Capable of proactively identifying, promoting, implementing, and communicating the advancement of cyber security and privacy
·        Ability to work effectively with Government staff, third-party Contractors and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or 4 years of experience to be used in lieu of a degree.
  • 10 Years of Additional Experience with leading teams and being in a customer focused role
  • US Citizen
  • Eligible for a NACI/Public Trust clearance

  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
